Board of Directors

The Board of Directors sets the organization’s broad policies with oversight over operations and financial policies. Moreover, the Board has an obligation to create an environment in which there is open and robust deliberation of issues. The Board bears the primary responsibility for ensuring the organization lives up to legal and ethical obligations to its donors, consumers, and the public.

The Board of Directors bears the primary responsibility for ensuring our charitable organization fulfills its obligations to the law, its donors, its staff and volunteers, its clients, and the public at large. The Board must protect the assets of the organization and provide oversight to ensure that its financial, human and material resources are used appropriately to further the organization’s mission. In addition, the Board sets the vision and mission for the organization and establishes the broad policies and strategic direction enabling the organization to fulfill its charitable purpose.
